Father Geary disbanded this organization, will he ever re-establish it?
I asked Father Geary if the commission was required by the diocese. He stated it was not. I ask him when the commission would be re-established he refused to give any date.
This advisory commission met monthly at the beginning of last school year. Its meetings were open to the public, I attended three of the meetings until the meetings were closed because of “negotiations regarding teachers’ salaries”. Sometime in the Spring it was apparently disbanded. In September 2011 the commission changed the day of the week which the commission met in order that Father Geary could attend the meeting. Father never attended a meeting from September 2011 through February 2012.
