Good morning, Bill
Have just given a quick review to your postings and find them informative and helpful in raising questions and concerns that need to be addressed.Your color photo of the old convent with the taller trees to help visualize the height of the new church is excellent!
Overwhelming support??? Where's the evidence? Only about 1/3 of registered families have given or pledged financial support. I doubt that many parishioners are aware that the 3 year capital campaign will immediately be followed with an additional 3 year debt reduction campaign?
I also sense that a lack of transparency in the process is creating a growing credibility issue for both the diocese and the parish. Credibility is the foundation of trust, and trust is the foundation of support. Transparency enhances credibility. My impression is that the majority of the parish may support building a new church, but they do not support this project.
Thanks for increasing the transparency by your postings of information.
Dean
