Mass in the Spanish language occurs each Sunday in only three of St. James’ seven neighboring parishes—St. Peters of South Beloit*, St. Catherine of Genoa and St. Joseph’s of Harvard.
Sacred Heart, Marengo; Holy Family, Rockford; St. Rita’s Rockford; and St. Bridget’s Loves Park do not have Sunday Mass in the Spanish language.
(*St. Peters of South Beloit and Holy Spirit of Roscoe were considered one parish)
